About the Author

Khatam is the podiatrist behind Khatam’s Footcare, providing mobile clinic and home-visit care across Birmingham. Over years of clinical practice, working with patients managing multiple health conditions and medications, Khatam noticed how often the lower limb held clues to what else was going on in a patient’s health — clues that were rarely joined up or clearly explained.

That observation became the foundation for Meds & Legs — a book born directly out of real consultations, real questions from patients, and a genuine belief that understanding your feet is part of understanding your overall health.
